The mounting aids are simply screwed into the wheel hub and then the rim is placed over them, thus preventing the rim from slipping off or awkward mounting.

This is an excellent and very useful product. It is well made, fits the wheel stud threads very well and makes the job of removing and replacing the (very heavy) Golf 18 wheel much easier . Before getting this tool, I was thinking of replacing the wheel bolts with studs and nuts, but this is a much more cost effective solution. Great service from Epytec for a u.k buyer . I will definitely be using them again for other items .
