Important!
The adapter is only suitable with the cast wishbones OE: 8N0 407 151 A.
These are fitted as standard in the Golf 4 R32, Audi S3 8L, and Audi TT 8N 1.8T and the Quattro models. For all other models of the Golf 4 and Audi A3 series, this cast wishbone must be used, otherwise no steering angle is possible. The stabiliser OE: 1J0411305AF must also be converted for the cars that do not have the cast wishbone installed as standard.
We have the matching wishbones in the matching accessories and they can be ordered directly.
The problem with the wishbone only concerns the conversions to Z18 and Z17 brake calipers. With all other adapters that we still have, such as conversion to 4-piston Porsche Boxter, Audi TTRS or 6-piston Porsche Panamera brake calipers for the Golf 4 Audi A3 series, the adapters fit with all wishbones.
Since the RS4 brake disc would touch the wishbone due to the high overall height, we have developed 5mm track plates that are mounted under the brake disc. This allows the brake discs to move further out. In addition, the brake disc is perfectly centred on the steering knuckle with these wheel spacers. The wheel spacers are of course included in the delivery.
Important: These can only be used if the wheel bearing housing is fitted with a shorter support joint. This must be checked on the car before installation, otherwise the brake disc will be in contact with the suspension joint.

In addition, the supplied 3mm bushings must be fitted under the brake caliper adapter, as the thinner spacer disc means that the brake caliper must move 3mm further to the engine side.

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description.
