TÜV certificate / material certificate

Our brake caliper tuning adapters, track plates and bolt circle adapters have been tested by TÜV - SÜD in a fatigue strength test. We have received the corresponding certificates. You can present these to the expert at TÜV or Dekra. This allows individual approval in accordance with § 19.2 StVZO.

Here, in the pictures, you can see how the TÜV-Süd has tested our adapters for breakage resistance and other safety-relevant aspects.

For all our other Epytec products, you can print out a sample of a material certificate to check with your TÜV inspector in advance. All our products (unless otherwise labelled) are subject to registration! Approval can be carried out by an expert at TÜV or Dekra in accordance with §19.2 StVZO.

For a better allocation and easier work for the acceptance according to §19.2 StVZO, we supply a material certificate with an Epytec logo. We recommend that the expert includes the manufacturer's imprint in the car documents.

Stress analysis / FEM calculation - TÜV

It may happen that a material certificate is not sufficient for the expert. In this case, please speak to the inspector to see if he will register the adapter with a stress analysis / FEM calculation.

You can simply send our sample stress analysis to your TÜV inspector. If he gives his approval, we can make this complex calculation, which we cannot do ourselves in-house, for a flat rate of €70 -> only applies to series adapters, not to customised products!

For customised products, we charge a pro rata fee of 159€

We are officially certified by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH, which is designated by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), in the sector production of wheel spacer adapters, brake caliper adapters, engine and gearbox mounts, and adapters for chassis/drive components for motor vehicles been. To make it easier to register your Epytec tuning adapters, you can present our certificate to the expert at TÜV or Dekra.

Til today we have only good experiences with approval from TÜV or Dekra. Many of the experts have installed our products on their cars themselves. Many tuning companies swear by our quality because registration is problem-free. However, we expressly point out that it is always a matter of the expert's discretion and acceptance cannot be guaranteed. A change of expert may be able to help here.
