Brake Caliper Adapter VW T3 Bus Conversion Porsche Brake System
Brake caliper adapter, VW T3 Bus to convert to front 4-piston Porsche Boxster brake caliper, combined with the 312x28mm Mercedes brake disc.
With this brake conversion to Porsche brake system, the wheel hubs,which are supplied, maintain the standard VW PCD (bolt circle) and are identical. Therefore the wheel bearing remains the same. The track is wider by about 6 mm per side. Our adapter kit works with or without ABS.
Rims: at least 16 inch
Required components:
- brake caliper: Porsche Boxster , reference 996.351.426 + 996.351.425 (only 100% suitable for the mentioned Porsche calipers)
- brake disc: Mercedes S-Klasse 312x28 , reference WD00604

Note:
Only suitable for all VW T3 from 1986 onwards. If your model year is before 1986, we recommend simply converting to the newer axle from 1986 onwards. The conversion is very simple, as the axles only differ in the brake caliper mount.Delivery:

Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen?
Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig.
Wie erleichtere ich mir die Felgenmontage?
Mit Radmontagehilfen gelingt das Ausrichten und Aufsetzen der Felge einfacher und präziser. Das schützt Gewinde und Felge und spart Zeit.
Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau?
Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand.
Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen?
Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen.
