Brake caliper adapter, rear axle, on models 5tj, 6th BMW F10, F11, F12 and F13 for conversion to the BMW F10 M5 and M6 F10 brake calipers, combined with the 396x24mm BMW F10 M5 brake dics, rear.
The BMW M5 brake calipers are simply screwed onto the original axle mount using our tuning adapter instead of the original caliper.

Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen?
Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig.
Wie erleichtere ich mir die Felgenmontage?
Mit Radmontagehilfen gelingt das Ausrichten und Aufsetzen der Felge einfacher und präziser. Das schützt Gewinde und Felge und spart Zeit.
Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau?
Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand.
Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen?
Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen.

Hat bei meinem BMW f11 520d Bj 2015 von einer Bohrung des Adapters überhaupt nicht gepasst. Auch die Hilfe vom Support ging nur auf allgemeine Probleme beim verbau ein aber nicht speziell in meinem Fall, mit den Tips konnte ich gar nichts anfangen. Letztendlich musste ich mit einem Fräser eine Aussparung am Achsschenkel/ Aufnahme Bremssattel für den Inbuskopf des Adapters anfertigen. Aufgrund meiner Ausbildung als Industriemechaniker und Kenntnis aber kein Problem. Es hätte in meinem Fall aber ansonsten einen anders gefertigten Adapter gebraucht. Schade, hatte dadurch viel unnötige Arbeit. Ansonsten wäre es wünschenswert den Adapter aus einer hochfesten Alulegierung herzustellen, dieser ist leider nur aus Baustahl gefertigt und schwer, wird im Maschinenbau und u.a. auf dem Bau verwendet und ist leicht zu bearbeiten, ein bisschen hochwertiger darf es dann schon sein, ist ja nicht für den Trecker oder Panzer ;-) Letztendlich läuft nun bei mir alles und die Abnahme beim TÜV Süd steht bevor. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
