Brake caliper adapter for front axle brake system from Golf 1, Golf 1 Cabrio, Caddy 14d, Jetta 1, Scirocco.Allows the installation of brake discs typ Abarth diameter 305x28 mm in combination with Porsche 986 4 Piston brake calipers.
Advantages of this braking system:
- Extreme deceleration values also in connection with our rear axle brake system
- Brake discs with 4x100mm bolt circle. Therefore, the original Golf 1 bolt circle can be retained.
- The material certificate included in the scope of delivery enables entry by individual acceptance even for series vehicles
- Directly suitable for the above models and can therefore be restored to the original condition at any time without any problems

Required components:
- Brake discs Abarth Punto EVO 305x28 Total height 45mm Original part number: 51778054 The hub bore must be widened to 65.00mm (can be done in our house for 59 € for the pair of brake discs click here)
- Porsche brake calipers from the 996 Porsche original part no.: 996.351.425/426 (only 100% suitable with the specified Porsche calipers)
Not approved in the area of the STVO, but the material certificate included in the scope of delivery enables entry by individual acceptance even for series vehicles.
Minimum rim size:
- from 16 inch rim. Depending on the rim shape and type, the minimum size of the inner diameter can vary.

Tips, information and hints:
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can generally not answer, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers.

Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. - Which brake pads should be used?
The original brake pads from the brake caliper, which is required for our conversion kit, must always be used.
- Can I use other brake calipers as indicated in the required components?
No, unfortunately that is not possible, the reason being that all brake calipers have different height and depth measurements. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit the adapter at all or not run centrally to the brake disc. If you want to install a different brake caliper, we also have an option for you. You can have a custom-made product manufactured, check out the following link for more information:
