We finally designed a brake caliper adapter that be installed on the T3 2WD bus (not Syncro) under the 15-inch rims.
The adapters are mounted with 288x25 mm internally vented brake discs and with the Audi A6 calipers.
Advantages:
- top deceleration
- the system no longer warms up and no more fading
- very cheap components. you can find second-hand caliper from 49.- € / new from 70.-€
- thanks to the material certificate supplied with the order, it is possible to register your purchase
- quick and easy assembly with the supplied mounting screws
Required components:
- Brake discs 288x25 mm Audi A4 Quattro, Audi A6 z.B. OE-number:
4A0 615 301 C (VAG), 4A0 615 301 D (VAG), 4A0 615 301 E (VAG), 8E0 615 301 Q (VAG) other comparaison numbers :

- Brake caliper brackets required for installing the brake system 288.Part No.4A0615125A (required because of the shorter form of these brackets)
- Hubs that are also available in our shop, item number 341. A complete kit including hub is also available in our shop, number 657
Only suitable with the 15 inch axle of T3 (you can see it with the screws fixing the calipers. The thread should be 16 mm)
Because of the thickness of the brake discs, the track is widened by 7mm for each side.
Important!!!
So that you can bleed the brake system cleanly, we recommend to mount the brake calipers reversed, i.e. to mount the left brake caliper on the right vehicle side and the right brake caliper on the left vehicle side.

Tips, information and hints:
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can generally not answer, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers.

Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc. But if you want to install a different brake caliper, we also have an option for you.
