Brake caliper adapter for the Golf 4 series to the Cayenne ZR18 6-piston brake calipers in conjunction with the original Audi RS4 B7 365x34mm brake discs.
The adapters are suitable for the following vehicles :
- Audi A1 (8X)
- Audi A3 (8L)
- Audi TT (8N)
- VW Golf 4
- VW Bora
- VW Beetle
- Seat Ibiza
- Seat Leon
- VW Polo 6r (WRC)
As the RS4 brake disc would touch the wishbone due to the high overall height, we have developed 8 mm track plates that are mounted under the brake disc. This allows the brake discs to move further out. In addition, the brake disc is perfectly centred on the steering knuckle with these track plates. The track plates are of course included in the scope of delivery.
Important!:
The adapter is only suitable with the cast wishbones OE: 8N0 407 151 A.
These are fitted as standard in the Golf 4 R32, Audi S3 8L, and Audi TT 8N 1.8T and the Quattro models. All other models in the Golf 4 and Audi A3 series must be converted to this cast wishbone as otherwise steering lock is no longer possible. The stabiliser OE: 1J0411305AF must also be converted for vehicles that do not have the cast wishbone fitted as standard.
The problem with the wishbone only affects conversions to Z18 and Z17 brake callipers. For all other adapters that we still have, e.g. conversion to 4-piston Porsche Boxster, Audi TTRS or 6-piston Porsche Panamera brake callipers for the Golf 4 Audi A3 series, the adapters fit with all wishbones.

- Extreme deceleration values also in conjunction with our rear axle brake system
- Thanks to the material certificate included in the scope of delivery, registration via individual approval is also possible for standard vehicles
- Fits directly to the above-mentioned models and can therefore be easily retrofitted to the original condition at any time
- Our EPYTEC brake caliper adapters do not require you to send in your standard parts, no rewelding, re-milling or re-drilling
Required components:
- Brake calliper Porsche Cayenne ZR18 ZL18 part no. 95535142153 / 95535142253
- Brake pads from the Z17 brake calliper, part no: 7L0698151
- these must be fitted, as the brake pads from the Z18 brake calliper are in contact with the brake disc pot and cannot be fitted in conjunction with the 365x34mm brake disc
- Brake discs from Audi RS4 B5 365x34 mm part no: 8E0615301AB
- Adapter only fits with original suspension joints.
- Bore circle re-drilling of the brake discs from 5x112 to 5x100 (can also be done in-house, click here)

Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen?
Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig.
Wie erleichtere ich mir die Felgenmontage?
Mit Radmontagehilfen gelingt das Ausrichten und Aufsetzen der Felge einfacher und präziser. Das schützt Gewinde und Felge und spart Zeit.
Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau?
Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand.
Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen?
Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen.
