With our big brake kit with special wheel hubs for Golf 1 2 3 Caddy 14D Jetta and many other cars, you can convert your rear axle to a 4-piston brake system in conjunction with the VW Golf 4 R32 handbrake caliper and achieve ideal performance.
With this high performance brake kit you can drive the Porsche Cayenne 4-piston Brembo brake calipers and the VW Golf 4 R32 handbrake caliper in combination with special wheel hubs and the 310x22 mm brake discs from VW Phaeton on Golf 1 2 3 Caddy 14D Jetta and many other cars.
Another advantage of our brake system kit is that it is equipped with the same original brake calipers and brake discs that are also installed in series-production cars. These OE parts not only make the replacement of the brakes simple and uncomplicated, but also facilitate the registration with the TÜV.
The big brake kit is not only sporty, but also suitable for everyday use and, thanks to the perforated sports brake discs in conjunction with our ceramic lining, enables ideal performance while reducing brake dust, temperature and abraison.
With this high-performance big brake kit you can get started straight away and have everything you need to convert your rear axle to a 4-piston brake system.
The high performance big brake kit is suitable for the following models with front wheel drive
- Golf 1 (only in connection with our axle journal article no.: 313 which we have in our range)
- Caddy 14D (only suitable in connection with the adapter plate article 532 )
- Golf 2 3 + GTI+ VR6

Advantages of this big brake kit:
- our components, such as brake callipers and brake discs, come from series-production cars and are OE parts. This makes replacing the brakes simple and uncomplicated and facilitates registration with the TÜV.
- The material certificate included in the scope of delivery enables registration by individual acceptance even for series-production cars.
- High-performance brake pads with longer service life than the original pads
- extreme deceleration values also in combination with our rear axle brake system
- directly fitting to the above mentioned models and therefore easily rebuildable to original condition at any time
- our EPYTEC brake caliper adapters require no sending in of your stock parts, no re-welding, re-milling or re-drilling.

The Porsche calipers are connected to the car's hydraulics and can therefore develop enormous braking power. However, as these do not have handbrake functions, the rear Audi S3 or Golf 4 R32 is also used as a handbrake caliper adapter. The hydraulic connection is closed with a blind plug. This means that it only serves as a handbrake caliper.
The track widens by approx. 10mm per side due to the adapters.

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a general answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims. In rare cases, it can happen that the rims have minimal contact with the brake caliper, in which case you can simply use wheel spacers. >> Go directly to customised wheel spacers <<
- The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
