Complete kit for engine and gearbox comversion to VR6 on VW Golf  MK1 , Caddy 14d , Scirocco Jetta 1 & 2 models. With engine and gearbox mounting bracket (cable gearbox 02A, 02) and drive shaft.

All welding parts in the best quality. Stress-free welding.

Can also be used for R32 with some adaptations!

  • 1x complet conversion kit with 5 parts. Engine and gearbox mounting brackets vor conversion to VR6 engine on VW Golf  MK1 , Caddy 14d , Scirocco Jetta 1 & 2 models.(see pictures)
  • 2x fine thin drive shaft, inclusive axle joints
  • diagram for the engine cable system - Tipps for the registration
  • material certificate

Visit our shop. There you will also find the reinforced rubber bearings (item number 445) for the Golf MK1, which are absolutely recommended for the VR6 conversion.

Use in public road traffic usually requires an individual approval in accordance with § 21 StVZO by an officially recognised expert. Further information can be found under TÜV Süd. For the individual approval, we will provide you with an expert opinion or material certificate, if available.

  • In which position do I have to press in the bearings?
  • The position is always different due to the tolerances on the bodies. It is best to proceed as follows:


    -Mount the engine and gearbox mount (without bearings).


    -Hang the engine and gearbox in the vehicle so that everything fits perfectly.


    -Mark the position where the bearings are to be pressed in.


    -Press the bearings into place.



    Because the bearings are eccentric, you can align the engine and gearbox perfectly.
