New T3 bus wheel hubs for the rear axle. Since the wheel hubs for the rear axle on the T3 are no longer available, we have them
now in stock.
The wheel hubs have been completely remanufactured, suitable for the T3 Bus rear axle conversion kit for disc brakes, which you can find in our shop.
The weak point of the T3 are clearly the brakes. Especially the undersized rear drum brake. We have therefore developed a conversion kit to convert to the Golf Passat 16V Vr6 brake system in conjunction with Audi brake discs.
The wheel hubs have new bolts pressed in. Depending on the conversion, you may need longer wheel bolts if, for example, you still have to drive spacers or rims are installed that have a "large" shaft length.
These wheel hubs fit all VW T3 Bus / Transporter.
Scope of delivery:
- 2 completely newly manufactured T3 Bus wheel hubs for the rear axle.
Tips, information and hints:
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can not answer generally, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers.
>> Now directly to spacers << - Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. Specifically for this, we have developed an online brake line configurator, where you can assemble the type of steel braided brake lines you want.
Click here to go to the >> configure steel braided brake lines << - Always use the hand brake cable of the installed brake caliper. So sometimes you have to modify / adapt the new handbrake cable. For conversions, where the original caliper is used and the handbrake cable can be used, you may need to pull the cable without any other fittings (ie directly) to compensate for the long distance due to the large diameter of the large brake discs.

If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
