Brake caliper adapter to adapt the front axle of the Golf 1, Golf 1 Cabrio, Caddy 14d, Jetta 1, Scirocco to the 280mm brake disc of the Golf 2 G60 in conjunction with the Audi S2 brake caliper.
These adapters were developed by us NEW, especially for the S2 Girling 60 brake calipers!
Required components:
- Brake discs front 280mm diameter Golf 2 G60 (incl. Syncro), Passat G60 (incl. Syncro),Corrado G60 part no. 535 615 301
- Brake callipers from S2 Girling 60, part number: 895 615 124 A / 895 615 123 A
- Brake caliper carrier, part number: 447 615 125
Advantages of this brake system:
- even stronger braking effect than with the conversion to G60 brakes thanks to double-piston brakes.
- 15 inch wheel diameter. ET must be tested depending on the rim, it may be necessary to use track plates.
- Registration for public road use should not be a problem if the work is carried out correctly and completely.
- Fits directly on the above-mentioned models and can therefore be easily converted back to the original condition at any time.

Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen?
Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig.
Wie erleichtere ich mir die Felgenmontage?
Mit Radmontagehilfen gelingt das Ausrichten und Aufsetzen der Felge einfacher und präziser. Das schützt Gewinde und Felge und spart Zeit.
Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau?
Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand.
Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen?
Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen.

If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
