Brake caliper adapter for Porsche or Brembo 4 piston brake calipers from the rear axle of the 996 in connection with the Audi 312x25 brake disc.
To be installed on the front axle of the following vehicles:
- Audi A3 (8L)
- Audi S3 (8L)
- Audi TT (8N)
- VW Golf 4
- VW Bora
- VW Beetle
- VW Polo (9N)
- VW Polo 6R WCR
- Seat Ibiza
- Seat Leon
Components required:
- Brake calipers from the Porsche 996 (rear axle) Part number: 996.352.422 + 996.352.421 (only 100% compatible with the specified Porsche calipers)
- Brake discs from the Audi S3 (8L) / Golf 4 GTI 312x25mm part NO. 8N0 615 301 A

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc. But if you want to install a different brake caliper, we also have an option for you.
