Brake caliper adapter to convert the rear axle of the Jetta MK6, Beetle and Beetle Cabriolet series to Porsche Cayenne brake calipers.
The combination is installed together with Audi A6 A7 brake discs 356x22 mm.
The Porsche calipers are connected to the vehicle’s hydraulic system and can therefore deliver enormous braking force. However, since these do not have a handbrake function, the rear Golf 5R brake caliper is additionally used as the handbrake caliper. The hydraulic connection is sealed with a blind plug. Thus it serves only as a handbrake caliper.
Adapters are suitable for the following VW and Seat models with steel axle OE: 5C0505435B

Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen?
Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig.

Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau?
Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand.
Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen?
Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen.
