Brake caliper adapter, rear axle, on models Audi S4 A4 B5 for conversion to the Porsche Cayenne brake calipers.
Combined with the 330x22 mm brake discs from Audi A6, rear.
The Porsche calipers are connected to the hydraulics of the vehicle and can thus develop an enormous braking force. However, these do not have handbrake functions. The rear axle of Audi S4 B5 is additionally used for a handbrake brake caliper adapter. The hydraulic connection is thereby closed with a blind plug / closure cap, thus this serves only as a hand brake caliper.

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel

- Because the overall experience is awesome every time I buy from epytec. - I love everything about the product and the package. - I would recommend this item to every Audi B5 Quattro owner, it upgrades the rear brakes with one of th best you can install. - In the optimization aspect, you can insert a leftlet with install instructions, or a PDF, you can offer in the future the adapter's in different colors like an optional upgrade, BTW I will paint mine. - I choose Epytec, because German quality is incredible and there is no one else in the that make this adapter's like you do. - Skeptical, No, not a bit. - I do not have installed the kit yet because, I am still missing some bits to do the complete upgrade.

-War das einzigste Produkt was ich so finden Konnte für mein Bremsen Umbau. -Soweit war ich ganz zufrieden. -Soweit jedem der das Bremssystem so fahren möchte. -Evt. zwei kürzere Schrauben für die Radlagergehäuse. Ragen ca. 1 Cm raus. -Viel Positives über Epytec gehört. -Nein, habe schon etliche Produkte gekauft und war immer zufrieden. -Einwandfrei. Wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe.

Install is not straight forward, but is quite easy if you have a good mechanical ability. First off one of the smaller holes beside the lower bolt hole for the porsche caliper had to be drilled out to 10mm as is was slightly off its correct location on both brackets. Once it's drilled out, the bracket bolts up correctly. Secondly, the area where the caliper bolts to the bracket needs to be slightly taller as a 7.5mm shim is required to bolt the caliper close to the centerline of the rotor. If no spacers are used, the caliper pad support pins contact the inner rotor face. (Correct rotors were used as suggested off a A6 C6 4.2L car). A 10mm longer SHCS is also then required to have proper thread engagement into the caliper bracket. Lastly the caliper carrier for the stock B5 S4 Caliper E-brake setup needs to be modified to fit between the brake rotor and caliper adapter bracket as shown in the last photo. I have not completed this step yet but will post more photos and dimensions machined off the carrier once I have it completed. Thank you for your great brackets!

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
