Customised brake tuning conversion for the Opel Vivaro - from development to perfect fit
Customer request / problem:
Our customer Christoph is planning to optimise the brake system on the front axle of his Opel Vivaro. His aim is to install a more powerful brake system that is better than the standard components in terms of both braking power and durability.
To develop the tuning adapter for his Opel Vivaro, Christoph sent us the following components:

Measurement and CAD drawing for the 3D adapter
Our customer Christoph sent us all the components - brake caliper, brake disc, brake pads and wheel bearing housing - so that we could measure them precisely and create an exact CAD drawing.
Using this data, we develop a customised tuning adapter that ensures a perfect fit for the brake system on the front axle of your Opel Vivaro.
To test the accuracy of fit in advance, a 3D adapter is printed first. This serves as a prototype in order to recognise possible adjustments directly before the final adapter is manufactured.
Testing the finished prototype in the workshop
The finished prototype is tested in our workshop to ensure that everything fits perfectly and that there are no defects. In particular, we check the assembly, stability and exact alignment of the components to ensure that everything functions perfectly.
We always work with a 3D model in advance, as it is often the case that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken into account directly in the tuning adapter. This intermediate step allows us to recognise possible inaccuracies and make specific adjustments before the adapter is finally manufactured.
This procedure ensures that the final adapter has a perfect fit and harmonises perfectly with the new brake system of Christoph's Opel Vivaro.
Production of the brake tuning adapter
After successful test assembly, we start production of the custom-fit brake tuning adapter for the Opel Vivaro in conjunction with the Akebono 6-piston brake calliper (8W0 615 105 GB) and the Porsche Macan 360x36mm brake discs (95B 615 302 J). The adapter is milled with the highest precision to ensure a perfect fit and maximum stability.
The finished adapter is then taken to the surface finisher, where it is given a high-quality coating. This protects the component from corrosion, wear and external influences, ensuring a long service life and optimum performance.
Final assembly and delivery of the brake tuning system
The brake tuning adapter is now back from our surface finisher and has been successfully trialled at our premises. We have ensured that all components fit together perfectly and that the installation on the vehicle works smoothly.
With this final step, we were able to supply our customer Christoph with a high-quality, and powefull performance braking system. Thanks to the customised adaptation and our precise manufacturing, he now has a perfectly tuned braking performance that impresses in terms of both safety and driving experience.
