Gearbox holder to mount the 02m 6-speed gearbox from the R32 in conjunction with the VAG 4 cylinder engines, 16V 1.8T 1.9TDI in the Golf 1 Caddy 14d Scirrocco etc.!
Due to the sturdy construction (6mm high quality steel ST52) and the accuracy of fit, the transmission mount can be attached to the original bracket, which means that a snug fit of the transmission can be guaranteed. This means that no welding is required on the body, saving you a lot of time during the rebuild.
The transmission mounts are supplied galvanized therefore best corrosion protection.

- It is the best option regarding reviews - I like the way it fits like a stock mk1 mount - To all that is doing 1.8t swaps :-) - I like it as it is. But if there is, I would leave it up to the engineering team - According to all the research I did regarding 1.8t swaps, Epytec was top of the list - Kind of yes. But it was because of where I am located :-( - THE BEST!!! IT LOOKS SO STOCK

- Why doesn't the transmission mount fit my 02m transmission?
If our gearbox mount does not fit the mounting points of your 02M gearbox, it is usually because there are different housing/mounting variants for the 02M.
In many cases, it is a 02M from a Seat Ibiza, Škoda Fabia, or VW Polo. These 02M gearboxes are comparatively rare and have different mounting points than the common 02M variants that were used, for example, in the VW Golf, Audi A3, etc. Therefore, it may happen that our mount is listed for "02M" but does not fit this specific Ibiza/Fabia/Polo version.
What does this mean for you?
Unfortunately, we currently do not have a suitable gearbox mount for this rare 02M variant in our range. The simplest and most reliable way is to switch to a common 02M gearbox (e.g., Golf/A3 variant) – then our gearbox mount will fit as intended.
If you send us the gearbox code or a photo of the mounting points, we can quickly confirm whether it is this variant.
- Do your engine and transmission mounts fit both left-hand drive and right-hand drive vehicles?
Yes – in most cases, our engine and gearbox mounts fit both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles equally well. The reason is simple: engine and gearbox are installed in the same position in most vehicles – regardless of whether the car is configured as left-hand drive or right-hand drive. This is exactly what our mounts are designed and intended for.
For you, this means: You can usually use the mounts without additional modifications, and installation proceeds as usual. Especially in conversions or replacement projects, this is a significant advantage because the relevant mounting points in the powertrain area usually remain identical.
In individual cases, it may be advisable for right-hand drive vehicles, due to the immediate environment (e.g., due to vehicle-specific components or slightly different spatial conditions), to make a small adjustment. However, this is the exception – and if at all, it usually involves small, easily feasible adjustments, not extensive changes to the mount.
