Brake caliper adapter for front axle brake system.Allows the installation of brake discs typ Abarth Punto EVO diameter 305x38mm in combination with Porsche 986 4 Piston brake calipers.
Tailor-made for the following VW vehicles:

- Brake discs with 4x100 bolt circle, so the original Golf 1 bolt circle can be retained.
- The material certificate included in the scope of delivery enables entry by individual acceptance even for series vehicles.

- Our EPYTEC brake caliper adapters do not require your standard parts to be sent in, no re-welding - re-milling or re-drilling.
Required material for installation:
- brake disc Abarth Punto EVO 305x28 total height 45mm original part no: 51778054
- The hub bore must be widened to 65.00mm (can be done in our house for 59€ for the pair of brake discs click here)
- Porsche brake caliper from 986er Porsche Boxster original part no: 986.351.421 / 422 (only 100% suitable with the specified Porsche calipers)

Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen?
Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig.
Wie erleichtere ich mir die Felgenmontage?
Mit Radmontagehilfen gelingt das Ausrichten und Aufsetzen der Felge einfacher und präziser. Das schützt Gewinde und Felge und spart Zeit.
Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau?
Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand.
Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen?
Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen.
