Our block reinforcement plate gives the block significantly greater stability.This means more power and a higher resistance to pressure loads.
Absolutely necessary for all kind of engine conversion on Turbo and G-charger.
Tailor-made for all VW / Audi 1.8 liter 16V, G60, 1.9l TDI and turbo / compressor engines of the 827 series, such as MKB. PL, KR, 9A, 6A, ,AFN ABF, PG, 1H, DX, EG equipped with engine with oil pump drive by countershaft as:

Note: Depending on the engine type, it may happen that the 4 screws on the side of the block reinforcement plate have little space for the oil pan, not much is missing, they then have to be unscrewed slightly in the head diameter. If an oil scraper is used, it must be recessed a little at the locations of these 4 screws. Depending on the oil pump used, it may happen that a small bridge has to be processed minimally, since different pump housings were installed by VW.

- How thick is the plate?
The plate is 6mm thick, this thickness is ideal for reinforcement and very stable
- Why are the provided screws too long for me?
We deliberately include longer screws because the blocks have minimal differences, and some customers have sometimes needed longer screws to fully fill the threads, so everyone can cut the screws to the precise length to fully fill the threads.
- Are all the screws included for assembly?
Yes, all screws for assembly are included in the set, including the high-strength 12.9 crankshaft screw
- What is the torque of the screws in this set in Nm?
We recommend tightening the screws in the first pass, from the inside out, (same order as for the cylinder head) with 60Nm and then with 80Nm.
