In high performance engines there is a danger that high torque comes in the transmission which causes a lot of vibration. These vibrations can lead to cause permanent cracks in the iron casing of the gearbox.
To avoid this, we have developed a transmission reinforcing plate / bracket made of high-strength steel S355. This is completely galvanized and suitable for all VW / Audi 02M 02Q 6-speed gearboxes.
