Gas pedal / accelerator pedal / trottle control adapter suitable for:
- Golf MK2
- Golf MK3 VR6
- Corrado
- Passat 35i
Our accelerator pedal adapter is needed because Golf 4 Audi A3 and TT have an electronic throttle cable / accelerator cable. If you want to install the Golf MK4 engine in your Golf MK2, Passat or Corrado, we also recommend to take the accelerator pedal of the "donor" vehicle, so that a perfect engine running can be guaranteed. Like that all the system of the accelerator is electronic.
With our adapter, this is very easy and quickly. Fix the adapter to the original brackets in the vehicle and then screw the accelerator pedal of the "donor" vehicle to our adapter. Then connect everythin. The throttle valve runs perfectly coordinated with the system, as in the "donor"
vehicle.
Since our adapter is very often installed in connection with our article 918 hydraulic clutch conversion kit, we have designed the adapter in such a way that the 2 adapters can be combined directly.
If you do not want to install our hydraulic clutch conversion kit, we will supply a suitable spacer bushing, which you can use to mount the adapter with a perfect fit. In the pictures you can see the 2 installation options.
