Conversion kit to convert to 2WD front-wheel drive of the 7-speed DSG DQ500 gearbox.
With our conversion kit, the 7-speed DSG DQ500 can be installed in all front-wheel drive vehicles.The 7-speed DSG transmission can easily be connected to all common VW engines such as VR6 16V 1.8T G60 etc. can be flanged and is significantly more stable than the 02A or 02J 5-speed gearbox.
Function:
The transfer box is removed. Instead our plate is screwed to the 4 original screw-on points of the transfer box.
Required components:
- 1x short drive shaft flange , reference: 02M 409 356 A
- 1x sealing ring 02M 409 189
This is definitely the best and easiest way to convert the 7G gearbox DSG to 2WD. Another advantage is that it canbe restored to the original state at any time, as nothing has to be modified on the gearbox or its attachments.

- How is the flange mounted
The old flange must be removed and the safety spring washer screwed onto the plug-in flange.
In addition, a needle bearing is applied in the transmission because the flange has no outward encrustation system
Another inner bearing race is inserted on the flange, otherwise damage can occur very quickly without an external system.
