Product information "Drive Shaft VW Golf MK1 Scirocco Jetta Caddy G60 VR6 Conversion Front Wheel Drive 02M 02Q DQ250 6-speed"
Drive shaft set for all VW Golf 1, Scirocco Jetta 1&2 Caddy 14D with the narrow axle. Absolutely necessary if you want to convert your vehicle to VR6, 16V or 1.8T engine in conjunction with the 02M 02Q DQ250 / DSG 6-speed transmission and stay on front wheel drive.
If you are converting to all-wheel drive we have the matching driveshafts in our assortment here article ISP122-Golf4 ( click here ).
The drive shafts fit only in conjunction with the DQ250 / DSG all-wheel drive transmission, which were installed on the 4-cylinder engines, such as in the VW Golf 6R.
The DQ250 transmissions, which are used with the 6-cylinder engines, have a star-shaped flange and a tripod joint and are therefore unfortunately not suitable with our drive shafts.
We have matching engine and transmission mounts as well as adapters to convert the 02m 6-speed to front wheel drive. Just look at us in the store or below in the accessories.

We also have matching engine and gearbox mounting bracket, as well as matching adapter in order to convert to the 02M 6-speed gearbox, also convert to front-wheel drive. Visit our shop under accessories.
It is important that when installing the new drive shaft, no excess pressure is created in the sleeve. In our installation instructions you can see how to prevent this (click here).
Important note:
The drive shafts are not compatible with the R32 engine, as it is positioned differently in the vehicle and therefore requires a different drive shaft geometry. For this reason, our drive shafts are unfortunately not suitable for R32 conversions.
