Gearbox adapter plate for the VW T3 BUS and panel van to enable adaptation of a 012 Audi / VW 5-speed gearbox. The adapter plate has a thickness of 5 mm.
Since there is no affordable and good solution for installing a new gearbox in the VW T3, we have developed an adapter plate that allows you to adapt a durable and affordable 012 VW / Audi 5-speed gearbox to the T3 Bus. With our gearbox adapter plate, nothing needs to be milled on the gearbox itself, as the clutch cylinder compensates for this thickness due to the small adapter thickness.
Our adapter plate is precision laser-cut from high-strength steel.
So that the T3 Bus drive shafts can be retained, we also offer the appropriate drive shaft adapters in the matching accessories.
Note:
With these gearboxes, the direction of rotation cannot be changed by modifying the differential; instead, it must be turned upside down by 180°.
For this reason, the gearbox is installed rotated by 180°.
The oil filter flange from the JX engine with this part no. 053 115 417A must be installed.
