- Does the steel braided brake line also fit other vehicles?
Yes, the brake line can be used in many other vehicles as well. Since almost all car manufacturers use the same size of thread for brake line fittings. Often the only difference is the concave or convex sealing surface. Our fittings are so-called hermaphrodite, which means that each fitting is suitable, concave (valley) and convex (mountain). All you have to do is measure the length and find out the thread size of the fitting you want for your line. So you can see if the line is suitable. You can find the exact details of the brake line in the product description under the technical data.
- There were 2 lens seals supplied with the steel faux lines. Where exactly are these installed?
the lens seals are always included with the orders. They are used to balance the cone, depending on the cone of the steel tube, see picture attached. With flare F you do not need the lens seals, with flare E they must be placed in the internal threads. The direction, which way around, does not matter.
