VW Golf 2 tuning conversion to the brake system of the Audi RS4 with the VW Golf 5 R32 345x30mm brake disc
The customer's request / problem:
Our customer Jonas would like to install the following brake system with these components on his VW Golf 2 19E front axle:
- 345x30mm brake disc from VW Golf 5 R32
- 8-piston Brembo brake caliper from RS4 B7

- Based on the entered measurements, a prototype is created with our 3D printer. This saves Robin the money for a CAD drawing.
3-D Prototyping
The final prototype is sent to Jonas in advance so that everything can be tested to see if it is a perfect fit for the new brake system on the VW Golf .
Jonas told us that 1-2 small changes have to be made to the tuning adapter so that everything fits 100%.
We always work with a 3D model in advance, because it always happens that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken on the tuning adapter in advance. With the 3D model, we can be sure that everything fits.
Production
After Jonas' approval, we now mill the tuning adapter for the VW Golf 2 with the Audi RS4 brake system to a precise fit. Afterwards, it is taken to the surface refiner.
Installation and Test
The brake caliper tuning adapter has now arrived at our surface refiner and we were able to test fit everything and deliver a great brake system to our customer.
