Better cornering stability on car trailers for motorbikes with Epytec bolt circle adapters!
Our customer Manuel would like to install wider track plates on his trailer to improve cornering stability, because the axle is widened by 70mm by the track plates.
This is necessary because motorbikes are transported on the trailer, which results in a relatively high centre of gravity.
Our realisation / solution:
- In our bolt circle configurator you will find out how to get to your customised design step by step
- Our configurator always shows you the current price and delivery time for your adapter.

Feedback from Manuel:
Hello Jürgen!
First of all, thank you very much for this great product! I immediately mounted the wheel spacers on the wheel carriers of the trailer. The whole thing now looks much better than before (pictures attached).
For transporting two motorbikes, the 70mm wider axle offers much better cornering stability, which is important for the relatively high centre of gravity.
However, a small modification was necessary! Because the dust/lubrication cap of the wheel hubs were too high, the track plate could not be screwed on flush. The inner 55mm milling in the track plate was unfortunately 5mm too shallow.
So I simply removed the dust caps and sealed the hub hole of the track plate with a 50mm plastic cap (also looks quite good). I don't know if a deeper milling is possible at all due to the stability. If so, specifying the dust cap depth/wheel hub depth would solve this problem.
Kind regards from Tirol Manuel
