Audi RS4 Avant B7 brake upgrade to the 6 piston C63 AMG W204 brake with the AMG C63 W204 390x36mm brake discs
The customer request / problem:
Our customer Maik would like to install the following brake system with these components on his Audi RS4 Avant front axle:
- Mercedes Benz C63 AMG W204 390x36mm brake disc, part no.: 09.9313.33
- Mercedes Benz C63 AMG W204 brake caliper, part no.: Brembo 20A495.03 / original no.: A204 421 2011 left side
- In addition, Maik has previously converted the brake disc pot from the C63 AMG to the RS4 B7 so that everything fits perfectly, we would be happy to do this for you
Our realisation / solution:
- In our brake caliper configurator, you can find out how to get your custom-made caliper step by step.
- Based on the entered measurements, a prototype is created with our 3D printer. This saves Maik the money for a CAD drawing
3-D Prototyping
The final prototype is sent to Maik in advance so that he can test whether everything fits perfectly and whether the brake system fits on the Audi RS4 B7. Maik also told us that 1-2 small changes have to be made to the tuning adapter so that everything fits 100%.
We always work with a 3D model in advance, because it always happens that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken on the tuning adapter in advance. With the 3D model, we can be sure that everything fits.
Production
After Maik's approval, we now mill the brake tuning adapter for the Audi RS4 B7 to a precise fit. Afterwards, it is taken to the surface refiner.
Installation and Test
The brake tuning adapter arrived back from the surface refiner and was sent directly to Maik. He installed everything and sent us great installation pictures of his new brake tuning adapter - thanks a lot for that!
