Engine and turbo conversion for your VW T3 bus to a modern 1.9 TDI engine with the powerful VNT turbocharger from the AFN - our specially developed TDI turbo adapter set makes this conversion much easier. This set allows you to continue using the original exhaust manifold from the 1.6 TD (JX), the original side engine mount and the standard exhaust system.
Thanks to the perfect adaptation to the VNT turbo of the AFN engine (110 hp), there is no need for expensive special solutions or welding work - ideal for all those who rely on workshop-friendly and durable conversions. The major advantage lies in the high level of service-friendliness: you can continue to access near-series components, which significantly simplifies maintenance and spare parts supply. With this adapter, customised flexible pipes, which often break or cannot be replaced, are a thing of the past.

- Do your engine and transmission mounts fit both left-hand drive and right-hand drive vehicles?
Yes – in most cases, our engine and gearbox mounts fit both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles equally well. The reason is simple: engine and gearbox are installed in the same position in most vehicles – regardless of whether the car is configured as left-hand drive or right-hand drive. This is exactly what our mounts are designed and intended for.
For you, this means: You can usually use the mounts without additional modifications, and installation proceeds as usual. Especially in conversions or replacement projects, this is a significant advantage because the relevant mounting points in the powertrain area usually remain identical.
In individual cases, it may be advisable for right-hand drive vehicles, due to the immediate environment (e.g., due to vehicle-specific components or slightly different spatial conditions), to make a small adjustment. However, this is the exception – and if at all, it usually involves small, easily feasible adjustments, not extensive changes to the mount.
