Porsche conversion PCD 5x130 for beetle with our wheel hub / hub adapter made of aircraft aluminum suitable for front axle.
We took measurements of the exterior contours of the original Porsche 944 hub and the inner contours of the original Beetle hub. Then, thanks to the CAD software we designed this wheel hub. This hub can be installed exactly on the Beetle with the original wheel bearing ( OE: 311 405 625, 311 405 645 ).
Therefore, without a PCD adapter plate, it is possible to have on your Beetle a 5x130 PCD of Porsche type.
For the wheel hubs the grease caps of the Porsche 944 can be used.
Shaft sealing ring / Simmerring are taken over from the original Beetle.
This article is also ideal if it is combined with our brake caliper brackets / supports to install the Porsche 944 calipers with the discs of your Beetle. These items can also be found in our shop!

Die Radnaben für Käfer sind sehr schöne Teile. Sie sind passgenau und leicht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Besonders gefällt mir an Epytec, dass Hinweise und Verbesserungsvorschläge gerne gehört und umgesetzt werden. Ich empfehle Epytec jedem weiter !!

This rating is because the product is very high quality, excellent design, and very well finished. There is not anything to dislike about this product, I did a previous Porsche brake conversion using original early type 944 hubs and specially made bearing adaptors to fit Beetle stub axles, although it worked I always thought there may be an element of compromised safety. I do think that this Epytec product may be heavier than a Porsche unit, but the design paperwork and testing is very impressive. I particularly liked the way that the design used the early 944 wheel studs. The original shorter 944 front studs can be used on the rear (if the spacer is deleted like on my car) and then the longer 65mm rear studs reused on the Epytec front hubs, because the front hub flange has been left deliberately quite thick to enable this. A clever design feature requiring no more expense. I found them completely by accident when searching the web for 944 brake conversion information. They are for my 1984 Mexi beetle. 944 IRS 1985 rear brakes with late 964 calipers, and 928 GTS big black front calipers using 305 discs on these hubs, mounted on dropped spindles. They are yet to be installed but bench assembly looks good and problem free. Its only a minor point, they have a wonderful machined tool finish, (and for reduced corrosion I may have them anodised before fitting), however on each one the tooled finish had one or two marks or bruises on the edges where they had been carelessly handled or put down heavily on a bench after machining. Not a big issue, it will be seen when installed as it is around the grease cap.

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
