Brake caliper adapter with special plates including Porsche 5x130 PCD to install floating brake caliper of Porsche 944 onto VW Bettle with drum brake and axle leg (YoC: 1965-1968).

Required components:
- floating brake caliper from Porsche 944
- brake discs from Porsche 944 2,7 l 282,5x20,5mm Porsche reference: 944 351 951 02
- wheel bearing from VW Bettle, OE: 311 405 625, 311 405 645
- For the wheel hubs the grease caps of the Porsche 944 can be used.
- Shaft sealing ring / Simmerring are taken over from the original Beetle.

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel

Die Bauteile machen einen würzigen und gut verarbeiteten Eindruck. Passung ist tadellos. Konnte noch nicht ganz fertig montieren, da die Radlager noch fehlen. Wenn das dann auch noch passt , hätte es volle Sternzahl gegeben😊

Die in der Anleitung angegebenen Radlager (Bj 68) passten nicht zu meinen Achszapfen. Die Löcher für die Radbolzen ,in der Radnabe, sind sehr klein. Die Bolzen ließen sich nur mit extremer Kraft einpressen. ( über 5 Tonnen) Die Materialstärke der Nabe ist wesentlich höher als bei der originalen, daher sind die Bolzen eigentlich zu kurz jetzt. Der Bremssattel musste an der anschraubstelle mit 1.1mm unterlegt werden, damit der Sattel mittig zur Bremsscheibe sitzt. Mfg B.Krieft

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
