Engine and gearbox mounting bracket set for the Golf MK2 Corrado Jetta Vento Passat conversion.
We have developed this KIT to generate the following advantages for you during the conversion:

Due to the stable construction (6mm high-quality steel ST52) and the accuracy of fit, the gearbox bracket can be attached to the original support/holder. Which means that a precise fit of the gearbox can be guaranteed. This also means that no welding is required on the body, which saves you a lot of time when converting.
We have developed this kit for the following engines with VW Golf 2 subframe / assembly support/holder:
- 6-cylinder engines (all except 1.3L) e.g.: VR6 R32
Combined with the following gearboxes:
- 5-speed 02A / 02J
Important! We also have the right drive shafts for your conversion. Please take a look at the matching accessories, there you can order them at the same time and save money in the set.
Note:
The front engine mount for our front subframe is currently not included in the scope of delivery. We are looking for a customer who would like to work with us to develop and test this mount in practice. If you are interested, feel free to contact us – we will realize the project together!

- Do your engine and transmission mounts fit both left-hand drive and right-hand drive vehicles?
Yes – in most cases, our engine and gearbox mounts fit both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles equally well. The reason is simple: engine and gearbox are installed in the same position in most vehicles – regardless of whether the car is configured as left-hand drive or right-hand drive. This is exactly what our mounts are designed and intended for.
For you, this means: You can usually use the mounts without additional modifications, and installation proceeds as usual. Especially in conversions or replacement projects, this is a significant advantage because the relevant mounting points in the powertrain area usually remain identical.
In individual cases, it may be advisable for right-hand drive vehicles, due to the immediate environment (e.g., due to vehicle-specific components or slightly different spatial conditions), to make a small adjustment. However, this is the exception – and if at all, it usually involves small, easily feasible adjustments, not extensive changes to the mount.
