Brake caliper adapter on rear axle of BMW E46 M3 for the conversion to the large E46 M3 328x20 mm brake discs, combined with the caliper of Porsche 986.

Suitable for all M3 E46 models without required modifications. The brake system can also be mounted on all other E46 models without problem. It is only necessary to convert to the M3 E46 axle stub / pin or wheel hub.

  • brake caliper: Porsche 986  reference  986.352.421 + 996.352.422
  • brake disc: BMW E46 M3  328x20mm reference 34212282303 + 34212282304
  • Front brake pads from Porsche Boxster 986 2.7
  • the brake pads must be slightly chamfered at the upper edge, as they are slightly overhanging

Tips, information and advice:

  • To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
  • For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
  • We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description.   • Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. We have developed a steel braided line configurator especially for this function, which you can use to assemble and then install them according to your requirements.   • The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel

J'ai mis la note de 5 étoiles car le kit proposé par epytec est meilleur que ceux que l'on trouve sur eBay.. Epytec a amélioré le concept sa cale se fixe derrière la fusée contrairement au autres que l'on trouve dans le commerce ce qui réduit le déport de l'étrier de son axe et rend le montage plus solide. Produit de tres bonne qualité. Je recommande à tous ceux qui veulent avoir du freins sur leur m3 e46. Prévoir le démontage des disques pour serrer les vis de fixation de la cale. Le montage est fait et impeccable reste plus qu'a roder les freins merci epytec.

Es wurde ein Porsche Bremssattel auf einen BMW M3 E46 Competition verbaut. Super Verarbeitung und sehr hochwertig. Jeder der umbauten an den Bremsen macht ist hier gut aufgehoben und beraten. Top Ergebnis und eine tolle Optik und alles mit Material Zertifikat (TÜV-Konform)

Versand hat reibungslos funktioniert. Das Produkt selbst passt 1A auf den Achsschenkel und zur Bremse. Kann ich jedem weiter empfehlen der auf die Porsche Bremse umbauen möchte. Bremskraft ist enorm.

Leichte Berührung mit der Schraube des oberen Querlenkers, minimale nacharbeit genügt aber schade um die zerstörte Oberflächenbehandlung Adapter könnte einen tick höher sein da der Sattel die Bremsscheibe in radialer Richtung fast berührt

Bon produit, montage facile en usinant un peux la tôle par chaleur pour le passage des vis et de l'étrier. L'étrier est bien centré en latéral par contre en hauteur non. Vis de fixation étrier 4mm trop longue le mieux serait des tige filetée qui soit fixe dans l'adaptateur. Il manque tous les couple de serrage pour les vis ça serait bien de les avoir. J'échange avec le fabriquant pour savoir pourquoi les pièces ne se monte pas comme prévu, on bien utilisé celle recommandées comme il se doit.

If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
