Brake caliper adapter, rear axle, for BMW E30 to install the large E46 M3 brake discs, combined with the 328x20 mm brake caliper of Porsche 996.
In this kit, there are two rings in order to adapt the handbrake.
Suitable for M3 E30 models without modification. The brake system can also be installed on all other E30 models without problems. It is only necessary to convert on the M3 E30 steering stub axles or wheel hubs.
Advantages:

- directly fit to the above-mentioned models and therefore can always be restored to the original state without any problems

Rims: at least 16 inch.
Required components:
- brake caliper: Porsche 996, reference 996.352.421 + 996.352.422
- the original BMW brake disc must be used, because the handbrake ring could not fit otherwise, since other manufacturers have tolerances in the brake discs
- brake disc: BMW E46 M3 328x20mm, reference 34212282303 or 34212282304

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
