Our block reinforcement plate gives the block significantly greater stability.This means more power and a higher resistance to pressure loads.

Tailor-made for all VW / Audi 1.8 liter 16V, G60, 1.9l TDI and turbo / compressor engines of the 827 series, such as MKB. PL, KR, 9A, 6A, ,AFN ABF, PG, 1H, DX, EG equipped with engine with oil pump drive by countershaft as:

Note: Depending on the engine type, it may happen that the 4 screws on the side of the block reinforcement plate have little space for the oil pan, not much is missing, they then have to be unscrewed slightly in the head diameter. If an oil scraper is used, it must be recessed a little at the locations of these 4 screws. Depending on the oil pump used, it may happen that a small bridge has to be processed minimally, since different pump housings were installed by VW.

Ausschlaggebend für meine Produktwahl war, das Epytec sehr gute Produkte im Sortiment hat. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich auch für diese Blockversteifungsplatte entschieden. Und was soll ich sagen, Passgenau, super verarbeitet, Schrauben mit dabei und das zu einem sehr guten Preis. Für mich 1A, und der Versand superschnell. Beim nächsten Motorprojekt natürlich wieder Epytec.

Die Hauptlagerschrauben waren zu lang -> werden durch kürzere getauscht. - Ich würde diesen Artikel jedem weiterempfehlen. - Wenn möglich, vor dem Kauf nach der Schraubenlänge fragen. - Da es das einzige Set in dieser günstigen Preisklasse ist. - Ja, da es mein erster größerer Motorumbau ist. - Positiv überrascht, da es sehr gut passt.

- Why are the screws supplied too long for me?
We deliberately provide longer screws, as the blocks have minimal differences and some customers needed longer screws to completely fill the thread. So everyone can shorten the screws to the exact length they want.
- How thick is the plate?
The plate is 6mm thick. This thickness is ideal for reinforcement and very stable
- Are all screws for assembly included?
Yes, all screws for assembly are included in the kit. Including high strength 12.9 crankshaft bolt.
