Range Rover L322 tuning conversion to brake caliper adapter in conjunction with Audi RS4 B8 and a 380x34mm brake disc (105544)

The customer's request / problems

Our customer Alessandro would like to drive the following brake system legally on the road on his Range Rover L322 and this is where we come in:

Our conversion

Alessandro has provided us with his sample, which he has already driven on his Range Rover. We can rebuild the whole thing for him, including the material certificate, so that he can legally register the whole thing with the TÜV.

Measurement / Drawing

Based on the sample for the brake system of the Range Rover L322 we can create a CAD drawing. We take the relevant measurements, such as the hole spacing of the axle and the brake caliper, exactly. The shape, on the other hand, we often adjust for stability reasons. Therefore, as in this case, it is not a 1 to 1 copy.

3-D Prototyping

The final prototype is sent to Alessandro in advance so that it can be checked whether everything fits perfectly and the brake system of the Audi RS4 B8 fits perfectly.

Generally, there is always a 3D sample given to test. Since we adjust the shape of the sample adapter from time to time, we send out another 3D model for the customer's and our own safety, so that everything really does fit perfectly.

Alessandro told us after the test fitting that 1-2 small changes should be made so that everything fits perfectly. We have implemented these directly and can now start with the production of the tuning adapters for the Range Rover L322.

Manufacturing

After approval from Alessandro, we are now milling the tuning adapter for the Range Rover L322 with the brake system for the Audi RS4 B8 for an exact fit.

After finishing the tuning adapter, we send it to our surface finisher who galvanizes it to protect the surface.

Assembly and test

The Tuning Adapter arrived back at us from the surface refiner and was sent directly to Alessandro. This has everything mounted and sent us super installation pictures of his new horny tuning adapter - Thanks for that!
