Opel Calibra 2.5L V6 conversion to the Posche 986 Boxter brake calipers with the 321x28 brake discs from the Opel Astra H OPC
The customer's request / problem:
Our customer Marcus would like to install the following brake system with these components on his Opel Calibra 2.5L V6 front axle:
- 321x28 brake disc from Opel Astra H OPC, part no.: 93185817 569 017
- Porsche Boxter 986 S 4-piston system, part no.: 996 351 425 and 996 351 426
Our conversion
Marcus provided us with his sample of the Opel Calibra 2.5L V6 and sent us the measurements in advance.
Based on the sample we were able to create the drawing to mount the Porsche Boxter 986 S brake calipers with the Opel Astra H OPC 321x28mm brake disc on the Opel Calibra 2.5L V6:
Production
After approval by Marcus we now machine the brake tuning adapter for the Opel Calibra 2.5L V6 to a perfect fit. Afterwards it is sent to the surface refiner.
Comparison of the sample and the finished tuning adapter
Here you can see the comparison of the sample and our finished Epytec Tuning Adapter to mount the Porsche Boxter 986 S brake calipers with the Opel Astra H OPC 321x28mm brake disc on the Opel Calibra 2.5L V6.
After that, we were able to send the tuning adapter directly to Marcus.
