NEW Adapter for 8-piston brake system

We have developed this brake caliper adapter for and with our customer Maximilian, this is now available in the shop for anyone who wants to convert their brake system to 8-piston calipers.

It is a brake caliper adapter for VW Golf 5,6 ,7 and Audi S4 B5 to the 8-piston brake calipers of the Audi R8 in connection with the Audi RSQ3 brake discs ( 370x34 )>>click here to the product<<

Our customer request / problem:

Our customer Maximilian would like to install the following components on the front axle of his VW Golf 5:

brake caliper Audi RS4 B7/R8 8-piston Brembo (20767502) part no.: left 8E0615107/ right 8E0615108
brake disc Audi RS3 370x34 mm part no.: 8V0.615.301.P ( pot depth 62 mm)

Our realisation / solution:

Our customer Maximilian sent us the following components:

brake caliper Audi RS4 B7/R8 8-piston Brembo (20767502) part no.: left 8E0615107/ right 8E0615108
brake disc Audi RS3 370x34 mm part no.: 8V0.615.301.P (pot depht 62 mm)

After everything was measured, the adapter was transferred to the CAD programme so that our 3-printer could start working.

3-D Prototyping

The final prototype is tested in our workshop to make sure that everything fits perfectly and that there are no defects.

We always work with a 3D model in advance, as it often happens that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken on the tuning adapter in advance. With the 3D model, we can be sure that everything fits.

After the 3D model was printed, we tested it and, see, everything fit. This meant that we could pass the data directly to our milling machine so that it could start with the adapters for the front axle.

Production

After the test fitting, we made sure that everything fits perfectly and machined the brake tuning adapter for the VW Golf 5,6,7 and Audi S4 B5 models. The adapter is then sent to the surface refiner.

Installation and Test

The brake tuning adapter has now arrived from the surface refiner and we were able to test-fit everything and deliver an awesome brake system to our customer.
