Lancia Delta brake conversion to Porsche 996 brake system (088565)
The customer's request / problem:
Our customer Markus would like to install the following brake system with these components on his Lancia Delta front axle:
- Porsche 996 brake system (OE-number: 996.351.425 / 996.351.426)
- Brake disc : 284x22mm from Lancia EVO front axle yoc 91-95 (OE-nubmer:46403088)
Our realisation / solution:
Our customer Markus sent us a drawing. We were able to transfer this into the CAD programme and create a prototype with our 3D printer.For each custom-made product you will receive a matching material certificate.
3-D Prototyping
The final prototype is sent to Markus in advance so that it can be tested whether everything fits perfectly and the brake system fits on the Lancia Delta. Markus also told us that 1-2 small changes have to be made to the tuning adapter so that everything fits 100%.
We always work with a 3D model in advance, because it always happens that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken on the tuning adapter in advance. With the 3D model, we can be sure that everything fits.
Production
After approval from Markus, we now mill the brake tuning adapter for the Delta Lancia to a precise fit. This is then driven to the surface refiner.
Installation and Test
The brake tuning adapter returned to us from the surface refiner and was sent directly to Markus, including the screw material.
