Brake upgrade on the Honda CRX with PFC ZR22 calipers on the front axle in combination with the 320x32 Tarox friction ring and Epytec brake disc pot
The customer's request / problem:
Our customer Maik would like to install the following brake system with these components on his Honda CRX front axle:
- Tarox friction ring 320x32mm
- Brake caliper: PFC ZR22 part no. : left: 22.323.255.290.01 part no.: right: 22.323.255.290.02
For the realisation of his project Maik needs the matching brake caliper tuning adapters and for the 320x32mm friction ring the matching brake disc cup, both we can offer him.

- Front wheel bearing housing from Honda CRX
- Brake caliper: PFC ZR22 part no. left: 22.323.255.290.01 part no. right: 22.323.255.290.02

3-D Prototyping
The final prototypes are tested in our workshop to make sure that everything fits perfectly and that there are no defects.
We always work with a 3D-model in advance, because it always happens that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken into account on the tuning adapter in advance. With the 3D model, we can be sure that everything fits.

We were able to test the accuracy of fit of the brake disc pot in conjunction with the 320x32mm Tarox friction ring and thus also test the 3D model of the brake caliper tuning adapter with the PFC ZR 22 brake caliper.
Production
After Maik's approval, we now mill the brake tuning adapter and the friction ring for the Honda CRX to a precise fit. Afterwards it is taken to the surface refiner.
Installation and Test
The brake tuning adapter and the friction ring have now arrived at the surface refiner and we were able to test fit everything and deliver a great brake system to our customer.
