BMW E30 320i brake conversion to the Wilwood AN 120-4997 caliper with the original 260x22mm brake discs.
The customer's request / problem:
Our customer Jens would like to install the following components on the front axle of his BMW E30 320i:
- Brake caliper: Wilwood AN 120-4997
- Brake disc: 260x22mm part no.: 3411 1 154 749

- Front axle of the BMW E30 320i
Based on his desired components we were able to create the drawing for his brake caliper tuning adapter.
3-D Prototyping
The final prototype is tested and assembled directly in our workshop to make sure it fits perfectly!
We always work with a 3D-model in advance, because it always happens that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken on the tuning adapter in advance. With the 3D model, we can be sure that everything fits.
Production
After Jens' approval, we machine the tuning adapter for the BMW E30 320i to a precise fit. Then it's sent to the surface refiner.
Installation and test
The brake tuning adapter has now returned to us from the surface refiner and we were able to test fit everything and deliver a great brake system to our customer.
