Installation instruction article 765 VW Audi Golf 4 A3 S3 TT 8L Quattro 4Motion Adjustable wishbone Rear axle Bushing Camber adjustment
1. remove the wheels of the rear axle.
2. The lower struts are bolted twice, once to the rear axle base frame and once to the steering knuckle. If both struts are fitted with original bolts, you will need a spanner size of 18.
3.in the direction of travel on the left (if fitted) is the level control for the xenon. This must also be loosened. Do not damage the bracket, you will need it later for the installation of the Epytec control arms.
3.1 Here you can see how our customer Chris solved the problem:
4. It is best first to push the struts out of the base frame with a mounting lever. Then the whole thing can be pulled off the bushing on the axle guide.
!!Important!!
When installing the adjustable handlebars, make sure that the two mounts have the same distance to the centre section. Then tighten them to the base frame and with the fork to the steering knuckle with 70 NM.
Important!! Tighten the screws in the compressed state.
This is what the whole thing looked like before, here you can see well how the tyres were worn on one side, after the installation of the adjustable Epytec wishbones this no longer happens:
