Here you can read how to do it step by step to mount the 1,9TDI Motor in VW Golf 1 Scirocco or Caddy 14d.

First, the plastic rear wall of the toothed belt cover must be adapted to the Epytec engine mount for the 1.9 TDI with a Dremel. Here you can see how the whole thing has to be processed. The easiest way is to try out the adapter and mark the position on the plastic back wall. Then cut out the plastic wall with the Dremel.

After the rear panel has been processed, the Epytec motor support can be mounted

As can be seen here, the distance between the support and the rotating roller is too small to fit the support into the motor bracket.

Therefore, the rotating roller must be removed and the new toothed belt must be put on. Then the tension pulley should be set to the maximum tension.

The toothed belt should then be turned two full turns

!! Important !!

the tension of the toothed belt should be checked then.
