Thin fine drive shaft set for VW Golf MK1, Scirocco 1, Jetta, Caddy, etc. for conversion to VR6.
Absolutely necessary when lowering! The shaft is 26mm thick, made of high-strength steel and manufactured in one piece and is a complete drive shaft. Thus also suitable for high-performance engines.
Suitable for the following vehicles for conversion to VR6 with EPYTEC engines mounting brackets:
- Golf MK1
- Scirocco 1 ( 53B )
- Jetta
- Caddy
Thanks to our thin and extremely stable transmission / drive shaft, you avoid many problems at the body that usually appear during a chassis lowering.
It is important that when installing the new drive shaft, no excess pressure is created in the sleeve. In our installation instructions you can see how to prevent this (click here).
With the installation of our drive shaft, you avoid many modifications and you save time.
Delivery:
- 1x thin drive shaft set / complete shaft set including axle joint for Golf MK1, Scirocco 1, Jetta, Caddy for conversion to VR6 / left + right
Our drive shafts are registration-free and therefore do not have to be registered.
Please note that our articles have been designed for racing and motorsport. Use in public road traffic usually requires an individual approval in accordance with § 21 StVZO by an officially recognised expert. Further information can be found under TÜV Süd. Seem to be good quality drive shafts have yet to get engine running to test them out but all fitted perfectly and so far so good
