Drive shaft set for all VW Golf 2 and Golf 3 4-Motion conversions with the narrow axle. Absolutely necessary if you want to convert your vehicle to G60, 16v or 1,8T engine in combination with the DQ250 / DSG transmission.
The drive shafts only fit in conjunction with the DQ250 / DSG all-wheel drive transmission, which were installed on the 4-cylinder engines, such as in the VW Golf 6R.
The DQ250 transmissions, which are installed in conjunction with the 6-cylinder engines, have a star-shaped flange and a tripod joint and are therefore unfortunately not suitable with our drive shafts.
Please select your suitable outer joint in the dropdown menu. You have the choice between the G60 coarse toothing and the VR6 fine toothing.
Fits the following vehicles:
- VW Golf 2
- VW Golf 3
- Jetta 2
- Seat Toledo
Suitable for the following gearbox:
- DQ250 / DSG All wheel drive transmission
It is important that when installing the new drive shaft, no excess pressure is created in the sleeve. In our installation instructions you can see how to prevent this (click here).
By installing the drive shaft set, you save the reworking of the body. This saves you time and nerves.
Advantages of the drive shafts:
- Up to 800 hp stable
- fits plug-and-play
- solid shaft made of special high-strength material
- simple assembly
- no registration necessary, drive shafts are registration free
Scope of delivery:
- 1x drive shaft set for VW Golf 2 and Golf 3 all-wheel 4-Motion conversions with the narrow axle and the VR6 outer joints (fine toothing)
Our drive shafts are registration-free and therefore do not need to be registered.

- What exactly is the point of having a shorter driveshaft?
As a result of lowering, the axle geometry changes and the shaft presses against the wheel bearing, exposing it to high levels of wear and, in the worst case, destroying it. It is therefore imperative to depressurize the component. This is done by shortening the trees.
- Do reinforced driveshafts also have reinforced ball joints ?
The wheel-side ball joints are also reinforced, but the inner ball joints are like the standard ball joints.
- Why are two bags of grease included in the delivery?
The grease is included in the scope of delivery so that it can be regreased or if the gearbox flange is open at the rear. In this case, grease must still be applied there. If the shaft is supplied completely closed, no grease is required, as this has already been done.
- Why are no shims (OE: 1K0407357D) for the mounting supplied as they are original?
We do not supply the shims, as we install the latest version of the bellows. With these, the shims are no longer required.
