With our adapter made of high-strength steel it is finally possible to mount the extremely stable drive shafts from T3 Syncro (16-inch) onto 2WD. This is very important especially in the case of more powerful engines and engine conversions.

PCD is adapted from 100mm to 108mm. The adapter has a  thickness of 12mm.

Delivery:

  • 2x drive shaft adapters in order to install the stable drive shafts from T3 Syncro onto 2WD
  • complete screw material

Idee ist gut. Workaround, um den Kauf der teureren VW 16" Teilen zu vermeiden, z.B. Radwelle 16". Auf die 14" Radwelle montiert, am Getriebe vielleicht 16" Flansche, und schon kann man die stärkeren Gelenkwellen montieren. Nur in Verbindung mit Höherlegung, da der Adapter zugleich eine Distanzscheibe darstellt. Also Längenausgleich zu Dämpferweg überprüfen. Beidseitiger Einsatz würde extreme Höherlegung ermöglichen. Knickwinkel wird dann kritisch. Unklar, wie die doppelte Verschraubung im robusten Dauereinsatz standhält. Die Befestigungsschrauben mit Innensechskant erscheinen untauglich, obwohl hochfest. Besser wären verkürzte Gelenkwellenschrauben M8 mit Innensechskantkopf. Genügend Drehmoment und Verkleben mit Loctite, dann könnte es funktionieren.
