Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen?
Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig.
Wie erleichtere ich mir die Felgenmontage?
Mit Radmontagehilfen gelingt das Ausrichten und Aufsetzen der Felge einfacher und präziser. Das schützt Gewinde und Felge und spart Zeit.
Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau?
Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand.
Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen?
Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen.

- What torque should be used to tighten the sealing nipples on the brake caliper?
We recommend tightening the sealing nipples on the brake caliper with 20 Nm.
Why is this important?
The correct torque ensures a secure seal. A too loose fit can lead to leaks, whereas over-tightening can damage threads or components.
Should a torque wrench be used?
Yes, for precise and safe installation, we recommend using a torque wrench.
Should anything be checked after installation?
Yes, the sealing nipple should be checked for tight fit and sealing afterward.
- Which RAL colors can we not offer for the coating of our brake calipers?
We can paint your brake calipers in almost all common RAL colors. However, an exception is RAL fluorescent colors (neon/fluorescent colors) – we cannot offer these for brake caliper painting.
The reason: fluorescent colors work technically different from normal RAL colors (they require special pigments/layer structures) and are significantly more sensitive in the "brake" application area. For a consistently clean, robust surface, we therefore rely on paint structures that have proven themselves in the brake area – and fluorescent RAL is excluded here.
