Brake caliper adapters with special hub / hub adapter for vehicles with 4x100 PCD in order to install rear brake caliper of Porsche 996 and Audi S3 8L / VW Golf MK4 R32, combined with the front 280mm G60 GTI 16V brake discs on the rear axle.
In this case, the S3 R32 calipers have only a function of hand brake. These are necessary because the Porsche calipers do not have the function of hand brake.

Technics:
The Porsche calipers are mounted between the axle beam and the axle stub. The necessary screws are supplied. The adapters for the S3 / R32 caliper are mounted onto the original Golf MK2 / MK3 bracket. With our supplied hub spacers, the 280 mm brake discs are centered and screwed. The track is wider by about 16 mm per side. The inside of the hub spacer is manufactured like the originals and therefore the wheel bearing remains the same.
Not permitted under the STVO (German Road Licensing Law). However, thanks to the material certificate supplied with the order, it is possible to register your purchase even for series vehicles
For the rear axle, we offer brake adapters for conversion to the Porsche brake system, combined with the R32 brake discs. Visit our shop.
For vehicles equipped with ABS, the ABS disc of all Golf MK3 models can be kept and adjusted exactly on our hub spacers.

- rear axle: brake caliper with mounting brackets from Audi S3 8L or VW Golf R32
- brake disc: Golf G60 5-hole 280mm VR6
- brake disc PCD habe to be modified to 4x100 (service available from EPYTEC)

Tips, information and hints:
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can not answer generally, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers.
>> Now directly to spacers << - Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. Specifically for this, we have developed an online brake line configurator, where you can assemble the type of steel braided brake lines you want.
Click here to go to the >> configure steel braided brake lines << - Always use the hand brake cable of the installed brake caliper. So sometimes you have to modify / adapt the new handbrake cable. For conversions, where the original caliper is used and the handbrake cable can be used, you may need to pull the cable without any other fittings (ie directly) to compensate for the long distance due to the large diameter of the large brake discs.

Die Adapter passen nicht 100 % mussten nachgearbeitet werden Bremssattel konnte nicht angeschraubt werden. Die Flucht von der Bohrung von Bremssattel zum Adapter hat nicht ganz gepasst. Ich musste am Adapter 2mm ab frässen.

If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
