Brake caliper adapter, rear axle, on models VW T5, T6 bus / transporter / van, for conversion to 330x22 brake discs from Audi A4 A5, combined with the original brake calipers.
Suitable for following vehicles:
- VW T5 transporter / van
- VW T6 transporter / van

Required components:
- brake disc: Audi A4 A5 330x22mm, reference 4H0 615 601 H
- Depending on the brake disc manufacturer of the brake discs, the wheel hub may have to be turned off slightly so that the brake disc fits over the wheel hub
- original brake caliper from the VW T5 bus part number: 7H0 615 423 / 7H0 615 424
- original VW T5 brake caliper carrier part number: 7H0 615 425
- the screw on the caliper adapter must be slight adjusted (see pictures)
- pitch circle diameter and hub bore must be modified (a service at EPYTEC for 149 € for the pair of brake discs)
- we recommend to use the calipers from TRW, with the original ones it may be necessary to adjust them.

- 2x brake caliper adapters for VW T5 and T6 bus
- 2x spacer 5mm between brake disc and rim
- 1x complete set of high-strength screws
- 1x material certificate
Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel

- Can I also use other brake discs as specified in the required components?
No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc. But if you want to install a different brake caliper, we also have an option for you.
