Conversion kit to convert BMW E30 M3 + E36 Z3 group A, rear axle. Adjustement of track and camber.
With our conversion kit, you can modify the camber and the track, rear axle, from -3 to +3 degrees. This is ideal for rear lowering and to correct defects, if a tire is worn out only on one side of your vehicle.
It is also recommended on racing and slalom circuits. Or simply to take turns at high speed.
Functional description:
For this conversion kit, it is necessary to make welds on the axle. The plates provided are drilled with an oblong hole. They must be welded to the axle at the point of the suspension arm. Thanks to the oblong holes and eccentric screws, the suspension arm can be adjusted as desired, whilst remaining in the original mounting position.
Delivery:
- 8x plates
- 4x eccentric screws with washers and nuts

Alles gut!
- Does the ABS still function after installing the camber correction?
Yes, basically the ABS will continue to function after installing a camber correction. The important thing is: If you significantly change the camber, the geometry between the ABS sensor and the ABS ring (impulse ring) can shift in such a way that the sensor no longer operates optimally "at the correct angle" or parallel to the ring.
Why can there be problems?
The ABS sensor reads the ABS ring with a defined distance and alignment angle. With a significant camber change (often from about 1°, depending on the vehicle and axle design), it can happen that:
the sensor no longer lines up correctly, or
the air gap between the sensor and the ring is no longer within the target range.
Then the ABS can basically continue to work, but there can be, for example, ABS/ESP warning messages, sporadic interventions, or error memory entries.
What needs to be done then?
If something like this occurs, a small adjustment is usually sufficient:
Slightly correct the position of the ABS sensor (e.g., slightly reposition/align it on the mount)
Check seating and attachment (sensor must be flat and securely seated)
Check the air gap (not rubbing, not too large)
Then it is best to read/clear the error memory and take a short test drive.
Practical Tip
After the conversion, it is recommended to have an axle alignment. If you are using camber values in the range > 1°, it is advisable to check the ABS sensor area directly so that no surprises arise later.
- Do I need longer screws or can the old ones remain.
With Epytec camber correction plates, you can continue to use the original screws up to +-2°. For camber correction plates over 2°, we recommend slightly sanding a washer and placing it under the screw head so that it continues to sit flush on the camber correction plate. Of course, if the camber correction plate is thicker, new screws may be needed directly.
- Can camber correction plates be installed on drum brakes?
Yes, this is possible provided that a stub axle is installed on the rear axle. In this case, our Epytec camber correction plates can also be easily mounted on drum brakes. The functionality and installation are largely the same as for vehicles with disc brakes.
It is important that the mounting points of the stub axle match the execution of the camber correction plates.
